CASE UPDATES

πŸ‘‰ THIS RECORD WILL BE UPDATED UNTIL ACCOUNTABILITY IS ACHIEVED πŸ‘ˆ

.

πŸ‘‰ REDACTED EMS AND POLICE REPORTS HAVE TRICKLED IN, BUT THEY ARE BY NO MEANS COMPLETE.

πŸ‘‰ What is missing is not minor β€” it is fundamental.

It includes the EMS records, the dispatch call logs, and additional police documentation beyond the limited materials already provided.

To date, only partial records have been produced β€” and a small set of scene photographs.

πŸ‘‰ Without these records, there is no complete or reliable account of what occurred.

There is no clear timeline of events, no verified account of the initial call for assistance, and no complete record of what first responders observed, who were on scene, and what they saw and did. There is also no transparency around how decisions were made at the scene.

These are not optional details β€” they are the foundation of any death investigation.

The current position of agencies raises further questions.

It remains unclear whether dispatch logs are being treated separately from medical records, which department is responsible for releasing them, and why they have still not been provided. Requests to the Southaven Police Department for additional materials also remain incomplete.

This is critical. These records are necessary to understand how the scene was first observed and whether standard procedures were followed. Without them, the official account cannot be independently verified.

New Records Raise Serious Questions in Tara Klimez Case

I have recently received additional records from the Southaven Police Department.

What the Records Show

The case was revisited in 2023 by SPD investigators who focused primarily on:

  • Telephone records and location data for an old phone owned by Thomas Wolf
  • Financial records
  • Careless detectives searched for a T Wolfe- not Thomas Wolf

However, the records also show that key telecommunications dataβ€”such as cell tower location informationβ€”was no longer available at the time of review due to standard retention limits.

Despite this, the conclusion of Suicide was reaffirmed.

Key Concerns Identified

Based on the records provided, several important issues remain unresolved:

  • ALIBI Location not independently verified:
The available materials do not demonstrate independent confirmation of key movements or locations during the critical timeframe.
  • Reliance on limited or unavailable data:
Investigators attempted to rely on records that were no longer accessible years later.
  • Forensic issues remain unaddressed:
The 2023 review did not include a re-examination of physical or forensic evidence.
  • Inconsistencies not resolved:
Questions raised in earlier stages of the case do not appear to have been fully investigated or reconciled.

Why This Matters

These findings raise serious concerns about whether the original determination can be considered reliable.

A proper investigation requires that evidence be:

  • complete
  • verifiable
  • and consistently interpreted

At present, those standards do not appear to have been met.

Request for Accountability

I am seeking:

  • A full and independent review of the case
  • Access to all available records
  • Transparency in how conclusions were reached

A Mother’s Perspective

As Tara’s mother, my goal is simple:

To ensure that the circumstances of her death are examined thoroughly, fairly, and based on evidence. And now, for whomever took Tara’s life to face Justice in a court of Law.

🚩APRIL 23, 2026

From the SPD records keeper:

*The crime scene photos have now been resent.  This completes the entire case file as requested and following our protocols.  There is nothing more that I can do for you in this matter.  There are not any documents in existence that answers most of your inquires.  Pursuant to Mississippi law, the City is not obligated by the Mississippi Public Records Act to answer questions or to create a record that does not already exist. Scruggs v. Caldwell, 970 So. 2d 1298, 1299 (Miss. App. 2007); Mississippi Public Record Case No. R-25-033.  Mrs. Berry, further communications will be answered in the same manner, so it is my sincere hope that the information sent to you helps you find closure.

Respectfully, β€œ

Notice β€œCRIME SCENE.”

HOW DOES NOT GETTING DOCUMENTS THAT SHOULD EXIST, GIVE US ANY CLOSURE?

DCMEI DAIMON WEAVER WHO WAS AT TARA’S DEATH SCENE WAS ALSO THE MANAGER OF THE HERNANDO  FUNERAL HOME. WEAVER ASSISTED THE QUICK CREMATION OF TARA, DESPITE MISSISSIPPI LAW FORBIDDING CREMATION OF BODIES BEFORE A FULL INVESTIGATION INCLUDING PATHOLOGY IS COMPLETE. SO BY THIS, HE HELPED DESTROY ALL EVIDENCE. WEAVERβ€˜S FAMILY HAD LONG BEEN IN THE FUNERAL HOME INDUSTRY. HE WAS FULLY AWARE OF STATE LAWS.

WEAVER CHARGED EXORBITANT PRICES TO WOLF FOR WHAT WAS A DIRECT CREMATION,  $4,750.00 USD. THEN GAVE WOLF SOME SORT OF DISCOUNT.

IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO US.

BIG NEWS!!!

WE DISCOVERED A GRAND JURY HAD BEEN CONVENED IN 2023 AND SUBPOENA’S WERE GRANTED TO EXAMINE THE ACTIVITIES OF THOMAS AND HIS FATHER. I COULD HAVE SAVED THEM THE TROUBLE. THE PHONE THEY SOUGHT FOR EVIDENCE WAS AN OLD SPARE PHONE, THAT LIKELY WAS BROUGHT TO MYRTLE BEACH BY WOLF’S VERY CLOSE RELATIVE WHO HAD VISITED HIM IN MS THE WEEK BEFORE TARA’S DEATH.

CASE RECORDS ALLOWED US BY THE SPD STILL HAVEN’T BEEN PROVIDED AND ONES THAT WERE - SELF-ERASED BEFORE WE COULD FULLY ANALYZE THEM.

🚩  May 8, 2026

Today Chief Scallions sent us a mostly redacted EMS report. According to medical experts we’ve sourced there are a number of anomalies noted during their attendance. The SPD only allowed ONE of the two EMS responders into the house. He was there 5 minutes. We still need other critical reports such as:

  • CAD audio,
  • dispatch recordings,
  • metadata,
  • PSAP records,
  • supplemental logs

🚩 MAY 18, 2026

CRITICAL NEW INFORMATION IN THE DEATH OF TARA LYNN KLIMEZ .

My husband and I were told our daughter Tara Lynn Klimez died by Suicide on October 2, 2016, in Southaven, MS. We accepted nothing blindly β€” because from the very beginning, things did not make sense. Thomas Wolf’s account of events changed rapidly; different story given to us from day to day, week to week.

We were not allowed to obtain copies of the Southaven Police Incident Report. Wolf could have obtained them for us, but he distanced himself, and instructed the cremation center not to give us any paperwork. Wolf also wilfully made erroneous statements on Tara’s death certificate which is a public record.

When we finally received Tara’s case file in 2018, it was extremely brief, heavily redacted, and contained no scene photographs.

Yet despite the lack of answers, we were expected to quietly accept the conclusion and move on.

Instead, we spent years β€” and thousands upon thousands of dollars β€” searching for answers. We hired investigators, consulted experts, retained lawyers, filed records requests, and continued asking questions because the circumstances surrounding Tara’s death deeply troubled us.

The emotional toll has been devastating.

The thought of what our daughter may have endured in her final moments has affected our physical and mental health beyond words. We miss her companionship every single day. Tara was intelligent, accomplished, compassionate, and deeply loved.

What made this ordeal even more painful was the ridicule we faced for simply refusing to stop asking questions.

Over the years, Thomas William Wolf repeatedly mocked and disparaged my efforts to seek the truth about Tara’s death. Members of the Southaven Police Department also dismissed concerns that I raised regarding inconsistencies in the case. Whether Mr. Wolf was responsible for Tara’s death is not the point of this post.

The point is this:

While we were desperately trying to understand what happened to our daughter, our efforts were treated by many as something to minimize and ridicule rather than something deserving compassion and proper investigation as her death was ”an unattended death” and as such, HAD to be investigated as per Mississippi LAW.

Mid May, 2026, newly released records from the Southaven Police digital evidence division revealed something shocking:  Inside those records was a Mississippi Analysis and Information Center document connected to Tara’s case number stating: PRIMARY OFFENSE: MURDER

This document had been generated in 2024.

At no time were my husband and I informed that Tara’s case had been reclassified in this manner.

We were never contacted. Never updated.

The newly released records also contain details that raise even more questions.

πŸ”‘ One report states Thomas Wolf told dispatchers  there was a key hidden in a flower pot outside the home, then he quickly told them the key would not work. Did the officers take Wolf’s word for it or did they try the key? This was very odd. There was no need for a key to be hidden outside their house.

Days after Tara’s death, Officer T. Jones  had told me the case was ruled a suicide because β€œthe doors were locked from the inside.”

But Tara always locked her doors when she was home alone.

More importantly, Officer Jones himself documented in his long version incident report we only recently acquired that he saw the window blinds were pulled up in the room where Tara’s body lay, and the window was open. An image of that window can be found on this site.

Tara had complained to me of the loud music and construction that afternoon as a work party was underway at SPD Officer Holliday’s short sale house next door. She disliked loud noises (she suffered with sonophobia since an infant) so would have had all the windows closed and the air conditioning switched on.

The same report references a TFC we will call β€œX” who allegedly advised officers β€œwhat had occurred thus far,” raising further unanswered questions about activity near the home before Tara’s death.

Independent forensic experts years later identified multiple concerning findings, including injuries consistent with assault and evidence suggesting Tara may have been strangled before being shot on the non-dominant side of her head.

To this day, we still have not received the full set of police narratives and reports weβ€˜ve repeatedly requested. Another mystery: Officer Thomas Jones claimed he worked the scene with an Officer Brand. We have not yet seen an incident report by β€œOfficer Brand.” Where is it?

In 2025, Southaven Police Chief Seth Kern acknowledged to me in writing that:
β€’ Tara’s case had been reopened in 2023,
β€’ the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation became involved,
β€’ the FBI/BAU reviewed aspects of the case,
β€’ and additional investigative steps had taken place.

Yet despite all of this, the case was once again closed as Suicide.

In April 2026, we sent formal documentation by registered mail to:
β€’ Southaven Police Chief Seth Kern,
β€’ Deputy Chief Alex Fennell,
β€’ City Attorney Nick Manley of Butler Snow Attorney’s in Memphis, TN
β€’ Chief Scallions Southaven FD

asking one simple question: IS TARA’S CASE CURRENTLY CLOSED OR OPEN?

SO FAR, NO ONE HAS ANSWERED US.

After nearly ten years, we are still fighting for transparency, accountability, and the truth about what happened to our daughter.

🚩 MAY 27, 2026

Tara would have been 46 years old today. πŸŽ‚

How despicable that someone decided she should not be allowed to live a full and happy life β€” to have children, grow older, experience the beauty of the world, and continue sharing her gifts with those who loved her.

To whomever was involved in the events surrounding Tara’s death, and to anyone who helped conceal, ignore, or misrepresent the truth: understand this clearly β€” I will never stop pursuing answers and accountability. Time does not erase what happened. Silence does not erase what happened. And neither distance nor position will place anyone beyond scrutiny forever. πŸ‘οΈ

Tara mattered. Her life mattered. And she will not be forgotten.

This record will be updated as new information becomes available.
