WHAT DEATHS IN MISSISSIPPI NEED INVESTIGATION?

A Death Affecting the Public Interest, which means any death of a human being where the circumstances are sudden, unexpected, violent, suspicious or unattended.

We beg to differ. Coroner Joshua Pounders might be pretty pleased with himself, yet he has refused to speak with us about Tara’s death case. 🧐 WHAT IS HE HIDING?

INDEPENDENT FORENSIC CONSULTATION HAS BEEN CONDUCTED IN THIS MATTER
🔷 CASE & RECORDS TIMELINE
October 2, 2016
Tara Lynn Klimez was found deceased in her Southaven, Mississippi home from a gunshot wound to the non-dominant side of her head.
The coroner recorded her cause of death as pending, with toxicology expected.
Despite this, Southaven Police classified Tara’s death as suicide within approximately four hours and subsequently marked the case “closed and cleared exceptionally.”
No autopsy was performed. No toxicology, gunshot-residue testing, trajectory analysis, forensic reconstruction, or documented victimology assessment was completed. Tara’s electronic devices were not forensically examined.
Her body was cremated shortly afterward, eliminating the possibility of any later independent post-mortem examination.
2017–Present
Tara’s family continued seeking answers, records, and independent review. Forensic professionals who later examined the available evidence identified significant findings inconsistent with a straightforward suicide determination, including concerns regarding weapon placement, bloodstain evidence, body positioning, and possible post-mortem scene alteration.
Only a limited number of death-scene photographs and investigative records have been disclosed.
Records obtained by the family also document later investigative activity involving grand jury subpoenas, telecommunications warrants, financial investigation, and an official Mississippi record identifying the “Primary Offense: Murder.”
Despite this, the family has never been provided a clear explanation of Tara’s present case status or the outcome of those investigative efforts.
🔷 OUTSTANDING RECORDS
Requests for complete records from the Southaven Police Department, EMS, and Wells Cremation Services remain unresolved or incomplete. Important investigative materials and other documentation surrounding Tara’s death have not been made available to the family.
🔷 THE CREMATION
Tara’s cause of death was still officially marked pending when her cremation proceeded. No autopsy or toxicology examination had been completed.
The rapid cremation permanently eliminated the possibility of later examining Tara’s body for evidence of assault, injury, toxic substances, strangulation, defensive wounds, or other findings that might have helped establish what occurred before her death.
Deputy Coroner Daimon Weaver participated in the documentation permitting the cremation to proceed. Weaver and Southaven Police Detective Bradley Hylander later left their respective positions in 2018.
🚩 IMPORTANT VICTIMOLOGY
Events preceding Tara’s death raised concerns about her safety, including reported suspected poisoning incidents and a nighttime intrusion into her home while she was alone.
The family has found no evidence that these incidents were incorporated into a comprehensive victimology assessment or investigative theory concerning her death.
🔷 WHERE THE CASE STANDS
Since 2016, Tara’s family has challenged the original suicide determination and sought meaningful independent review.
For nearly a decade, her mother, Maureen Berry, living in Canada, has pursued answers through public-record requests, forensic consultation, law-enforcement agencies, legal inquiries, government agencies, and media outreach.
Rather than receiving a complete accounting of how Tara’s death was investigated, the family has encountered missing records, incomplete disclosures, conflicting information, and prolonged delays.
Independent forensic opinions have raised serious concerns regarding possible homicide, scene staging, and deficiencies in the original investigation.
The family continues to seek independent legal and investigative review concerning Tara’s death, the destruction or loss of potential evidence, access to investigative records, and the handling of the case by Mississippi authorities.
🔷 CAN YOU HELP TARA’S CASE?

Tara’s life mattered. Her death deserves answers.

Thomas William Wolf told Chris Wells not to allow Tara’s mother “or anyone” to have copies of Tara’s cremation records. In their letter Wells was wrong: In this case, *HIPAA does not apply. In addition, we were compelled to obtain copies of our daughter’s death certificate directly from Mississippi Vital Statistics after her spouse deliberately refused to provide them. *(Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996)

credit for this ability, volunteering, “Uhhhhh…I taught her how to shoot with her right hand!”

Bruising is evident on her wrists. Wolf had been abusive to Tara during their marriage and often made her cry. It was hard to watch my daughter think so lovingly of Wolf, yet he regarded Tara as his nemesis. Just something to hurt and diminish. Many former colleagues who worked with Tara and Wolf were shocked by the official ruling that Tara took her own life. Those who knew her found that conclusion inconsistent with her character, state of mind, and future plans. Independent professional reviews conducted in later years identified unresolved forensic concerns that reinforced those doubts.

Multiple individuals reported that Thomas Wolf was known to give inconsistent accounts of his whereabouts and to ask others to corroborate those accounts. During visits with the couple, we were troubled by statements he made about exercising power over others without regard for consequence. After marriage, Tara became increasingly isolated from family, a pattern commonly seen in abusive relationships. Wolf took Tara’s paycheques from her and refused her to have any of her own money. He made her LEASE a 250 Mercedes Benz sedan in May 2016  that a dealership subsequently picked up for return the DAY AFTER HER DEATH.

Early days of her passing, Thomas communicated extensively with family, friends, colleagues, law enforcement, and media to smear the reputation of Tara’s mother and a consistent effort to redirect blame toward Tara’s parents when they began asking questions. Despite the involvement of independent forensic professionals, Thomas has never sought to review their findings.

Thomas claimed he was out of state at the time of Tara’s death; however, this alibi was never independently verified. The home was heavily monitored with surveillance equipment, including cameras installed shortly before her death, which Tara had expressed discomfort about.

The circumstances of the police welfare check remain unexplained. The incident report does not document distress warranting forced entry, nor does it explain why family members were not contacted beforehand. These procedural decisions have never been satisfactorily addressed.

Shortly after Tara’s death, Thomas entered a new cohabitating relationship that later proved to have predated Tara’s passing. Financial records indicate that assets from Tara’s estate were subsequently used to acquire property and other purchases for Wolf and his mistress turned wife Tess Lane Webb Mahan Wolf.

Taken together, these facts form the basis of the family’s continuing request for transparency, accountability, and an independent review of the failures surrounding Tara Lynn Klimez’s death.

It’s odd that Tara’s cell phone which received the threatening text, has been in the possession of BOTH Robert and Thomas.

Former colleagues in Las Vegas, Memphis, and Southaven later told us they did not believe Tara took her own life and shared concerns about how she was treated in the relationship. Tara confided that she experienced financial control, including being required to turn over her paychecks and ask permission for even minor purchases from Thomas. These are recognized indicators of financial abuse.

We also observed behavior that suggested emotional instability when Thomas did not get his way. Tara had expressed distress about constant monitoring in their home; extensive surveillance cameras were installed in each residence they shared, allowing her movements to be viewed remotely. She made it clear that this made her uncomfortable.

Given this level of monitoring, we find it difficult to reconcile Thomas’s statement that he had not seen or heard from Tara for many hours prior to her death.

    CASINO MANAGEMENT

    AND PERSONAL CREDIT

    HISTORY….

In  the United States, casino surveillance directors are considered "key employees" or "key executives" and are almost universally required to be licensed by state or tribal gaming authorities. While a "good credit standing" is not always a strict statutory minimum, it is heavily scrutinized during mandatory background investigations to determine financial stability and suitability for the role. We suggest his employers need to do a complete background check on Wolf.

Tara was raised Catholic and lived her life guided by compassion and service. Helping others came naturally to her, and she was deeply committed to easing the suffering of those around her.

She was a long-time blood donor and volunteered in hospice care, where she comforted patients in their final days—bringing blankets and ice chips, helping them write last letters, and sitting with those who had no close family present. Tara believed that no one should leave this world alone, and she stayed with patients until the very end.

In the years since Tara’s death, it has been painful to witness how many people she once considered close family or friends have distanced themselves rather than stand with us as we seek answers.
